A basic class of Indian carnatic music, swaras, shruthi, bhajans and slokas
An entry level foundational course for students to learn the basic Swara patterns (Sarali varisas) in the Ragam Mayamalavagowla along with the scale Arohana and Avarohana. Swara exercises will be explored.

About Remmia
“Remmia Menon” is the Executive Director and Producer of ResaResa Foundation Inc., a resident of Memphis, Tennessee. Remmia is currently pursuing Doctoral program at University of Memphis and holds two post-Graduate degrees: Master of Education in Instructional Technology, Strayer University and Master of Arts in Sanskrit, Sree Shankaracharya University, Kalady, India.
Remmia is an active member of several educational leadership organizations (both in United States and India) and is dedicated to promoting art and culture with advanced instructional technology. She’s locally a well-known classical singer, previously trained under Guru Vadassery Sivadasan (Carnatic musician, Guruvayur) and continues under Guru Perumbavoor G Ravindarnath (a well-known Carnatic Musician and Composer).
